CAPES PrInt

This is an institutional project funded by CAPES for the 2018–2024 period. The project provides funding for International Working Missions, Project Maintenance, Scholarships Abroad (Sandwich PhD, Junior Visiting Professor, and Senior Visiting Professor), Short-Term Training Programs (including summer and winter schools), and Scholarships in Brazil (Young Talent with International Experience, Visiting Professor, and Postdoctoral Fellowships).

IPM-inet

IPM-inet is an International Network for the Development of Research and Human Resources in Sustainable Integrated Pest Management that aims to consolidate and expand partnerships with foreign researchers. This Network is part of CAPES PrInt and, consequently, the opportunities and funding follow its rules.

Students and faculty of PPGEA may apply to carry out research and training activities at the following foreign partner institutions of the IPM-inet Network: ARO, Volcani, Israel; Institute Agro (Montpellier SupAgro and Agrocampus Ouest), France; University of Copenhagen, Denmark; German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research, Leipzig, Germany; Universitat Jaume I, Castelló de La Plana, Valencia, Spain; University of Ghent, Belgium; Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain; Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands; Stirling University, UK; University of Florida, Ohio State University, Mississippi State University, University of Tennessee, University of Nebraska – Lincoln, USA, University of California, Davis, Montana State University, University of Georgia, USA; Universidad Autónoma de México, Mexico; University of Queensland, Australia.

Aliança Global SMARTY

SMARTY is the acronym for Sustainable Smart Farming: Tropical Agriculture and Forest Production System. This is an institutional project within CAPES PrInt and is focused on the development of advanced research and innovation in intelligent agricultural production systems in partnership with five renowned international universities: University of California, Davis, USA; University of Queensland, Australia; Stellenbosch University, South Africa; Institute Agro, France; and University of Birmingham, UK. The four main areas of activity for SMARTY are: i) Robotics and Internet of Things; ii) Intelligent Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Systems; iii) New Materials and Compounds; and iv) Remote and Local Sensing. The Global Alliance aims to Research and exchange opportunities are funded by the CAPES PrInt project and are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
