Description

Comparative morphology of Arthropoda: characterization and differentiation of Arthropoda classes. Morphology of adults; basic morphology of an insect; segmentation; division of a body segment; nomenclature of sclerites; integument and integumentary processes. Morphology of adults: morphology of the head; general structure; cephalic appendages; antennae; mouthparts; morphology of the thorax; general structure and thoracic appendages: legs and wings; general structure of the abdomen; abdominal appendages. Morphology of the orders Orthoptera, Hemiptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, and Hymenoptera.
